Description
Seeking a hands-on candidate to maintain client portfolios for the West Coast. This role requires direct processing of foreclosure documents and files, while ensuring the full portfolio and all client systems receive proper, timely attention to meet all client service agreements.
The position involves preparing and editing legal documents, maintaining client systems, and coordinating closely with team members, managers, and attorneys in a multi-disciplinary environment to ensure files move forward efficiently and timely. This is an in-office position in Downtown Long Beach, CA, with standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Exceptional organizational skills between multiple systems to ensure efficient file processing.
• Drafting, preparing, proofreading, and formatting notices, deeds, financial transactions and various other foreclosure documents.
• Ensuring the effective and timely delivery of outgoing mail, overnight deliveries, and document recordings/retrievals.
• Ensuring timely, courteous, and thorough responses to a heavy volume of email correspondence.
• Taking calls from borrowers, lenders, and other outside parties courteously and effectively.
• Developing and maintaining congenial relationships with business associates, borrowers, lenders and internal teams and associates.
• Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction, including timely status updates and follow-up on outstanding documents and/or services and milestones.
• Consistently and accurately update the firm's internal case management system, as well as all client systems.
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
• Associate's degree or 1-3 years foreclosure experience preferred.
• Knowledge of foreclosure processes and practices is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
• Must possess exceptional organizational skills; the position requires the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change.
• Ability to read and write at a high level for proof reading and editing purposes.
• High-level proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Outlook, Teams, and Excel.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
