Revenue Forecasting Analyst
Impact and Opportunity
The Financial Analyst supports the North America budget and forecasting processes on a weekly, quarterly, and yearly basis. This role will work closely with the North America Sales Team to deliver reports and analysis to understand customer trends and influence decision making. The North America Financial Analyst will be responsible for delivering detailed sales data analytics by customer, program, and technology to various levels of management throughout the organization and supports the month end closing activities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Assist in North America sales budget & forecasting process by working with Account Managers to ensure accurate information
  • Work closely with the Sales Department to report and analyze volume and prices variances on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Work with the manufacturing locations to develop a weekly/monthly sales forecast to give regional management updated revenue information
  • Track monthly pricing accruals & LTA's, to monitor the status of long-term agreements and ensure compliance. Perform documentation for SOX-controls to Auditors
  • Support Sales Team at Recovery activities and validate the P&L impact
  • Maintain and update product hierarchies in the Part Sales Workflow in SAP to ensure accurate categorization and reporting
  • Support margin analysis by identifying the Leakers & Bleeders by tracking underperforming products for corrective actions
  • Analyze cost structures and recommend cost saving opportunities

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of position-related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with global budgeting or forecasting
  • Advanced Excel experience, including complex formulas, simple macros, process automation, complex graphs, and pivot tables
  • Automotive and/or Manufacturing Experience
  • SAP Experience
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Ability to present to management & senior leadership
