What You Will Do
  • Assess and monitor system compliance, audit security plans, and deliver information systems security education and awareness
  • Investigate information system security violations and prepare reports with corrective and preventative actions
  • Review and approve configuration management requests within authority
  • Conduct technical and administrative assessments
  • Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools
  • Support the creation, review, and update of cybersecurity documentation and other technical writing
Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree and at least 3 years of experience
  • Current IAM Level I certification (Security+ or equivalent)
  • Experience with cybersecurity, systems security, or hardening
  • Experience with compliance-based auditing using the Risk Management Framework (RMF), DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), or non‑defense regulations such as FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA
  • Experience with computer technologies including databases, operating systems, network hardware, software, hardware troubleshooting, or electronics
  • Experience in physical security, investigations, or border patrol
  • Project, program, office, or senior administration/account management experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in DoD classified operating or laboratory environments
  • Experience with vulnerability analysis and mitigation tools such as Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS
  • Familiarity with implementation of government directives and policies derived from NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other regulatory standards
  • Experience executing Assessment & Authorization processes as defined within RMF
  • Technical security consultation experience for complex, cross-domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments
  • Familiarity with large multi‑facility networks, Windows and Linux environments
  • Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs
  • Experience in cyber incident response: preservation, containment, and eradication

Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD (based on experience)
