FORCE PROTECTION BUSINESS PROCESS CONSULTANT - JBSA-LACKLAND, San Antonio, TX

Defense Consulting Services (DCS) has an opening for a Force Protection Business Process Consultant working at the Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC) at JBSA-Lackland in San Antonio, TX. Work hours are 7:30 AM-4:30 PM Monday through Friday. This position requires a Secret Clearance.

DCS is currently offering highly qualified candidates a place to cultivate their knowledge, build upon their experience, and use their expertise to make a real difference.

REQUIREMENTS

Personnel working as Force Protection Business Process Consultants within the Air Force Security Forces Center are expected to have the background and skillsets to operate at the senior/executive level as their scope of responsibilities will include interactions and providing staff products/solutions to senior/executive level personnel within the Air Force Security Forces Center, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, Headquarters Air Force and other Department of Defense (DoD) and government agencies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

Personnel for this position shall have at least fifteen (15) years or more experience within the Force Protection subject area. Eight (8) or more years of experience at the Headquarters Air Force, MAJCOM, and/or equivalent like staff agencies is also desired.

A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Headquarters Air Force, MAJCOM, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center, and other DoD and government agency relationships to the Air Force Security Forces Center is also required.

A comprehensive knowledge of all Air Force Strategic Plans, Air Force Security Forces Strategic Planning documents, Program Action Directives, P-Plans, and Air Force Instructions impacting the Air Force Security Forces Center is also required.

The knowledge and ability to conduct complex analysis, studies, and other staff activities and translate that work into senior leader/executive level briefs, summaries, and briefings as required.

TRAVEL: Trips will vary in length from 1-5 days. Personnel will be required to travel to other locations within the CONUS and overseas during the performance of this effort. After you complete your travel, detailed results of the analyses, study, and/or observation will be due.
