Job description

We value our caregivers so we offer PTO, overtime, health insurance (when qualified), as well as provide initial training and continuous education based on the latest research into senior care.

We are hiring for multiple positions in the Las Vegas, Summerlin, Henderson, Nellis and Boulder area. The hours will vary depending on your availability and client needs. All shifts are 4-12 hours long. Shifts are not guaranteed. This is not a full-time position. The hours will vary. You must be able to pass a drug test.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Accept shifts that are assigned to you on our app specialized for caregivers
  • Assist the client by driving them when needed (if you are a driver)
  • Transport yourself to assigned shifts by car, bus, Lyft, etc.
  • Enter caregiver notes for shifts on the app
  • Clock in and clock out using our app for every shift on time
  • Keep your credentials up to date and send them over email or text to keep your profile up to date
  • Collaborate with facility staff, client families, and other caregivers who work with the same client to ensure the client is being cared for
  • Light house cleaning, meal prep, companionship, assisting with changing clothes, bathing, etc.

To be a successful caregiver, you must be:

  • Compassionate and caring: You are focused on the client -- you put their needs first and are willing to do things their way.
  • A good communicator: You relate to clients on a personal level, learning their story and listening to them carefully. You are clear and specific when you talk to clients and other employees.
  • Flexible: You take shifts as they are available and you work within the constraints of the client's situation and needs.
  • Reliable and responsible: You show up on time, you follow our procedures and guidelines, and you follow through.

Minimum Requirements

At least 1 year of care-giving experience is preferred, but not required.
As part of the hiring process, you will be required to attain the following:

  • 2-Step TB Test OR Chest X-Ray
  • Physical
  • ID/Driver’s License
  • Social Security Card
  • Valid CPR/ First Aid Certification
  • Personal Care Attendant Certificate
  • Fingerprint Clearance/ Background Check
  • Car Insurance & 3 Year Driving History (if you are a driver)
