Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach/Goalkeeper Coach role located in San Antonio, TX. The position supports the Head Coach in planning and conducting training sessions, with a primary focus on goalkeeper development, technical skills, and tactical understanding. Daily responsibilities include assisting with practice organization, game preparation, video analysis, and in-match coaching support. The coach helps with recruiting prospective student-athletes, maintaining compliance with university, conference, and NAIA regulations, and supporting academic and personal development. Additional duties may include coordination of equipment, travel logistics, community outreach, and promoting a positive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated Soccer Coaching experience, including goalkeeper-specific training and player development.
  • Strong Communication skills for interacting effectively with student-athletes, colleagues, and campus partners.
  • Background in Coaching and Education, with the ability to teach fundamentals, tactics, and sportsmanship.
  • Understanding of Football/soccer tactics, match analysis, and training methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and coaching experience considered.
