Salary:$22.00 per hour
Expected Hours:40 hours per week, at least one day out of every weekend
Job Description:Food Storekeepers support the warehouse operation by receiving, tracking, and organizing food products and supplies that support daily airline catering production. This role includes scanning inventory, operating pallet jacks, unboxing shipments, rotating stock, and working in cooler environments. Success in this position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting that supports time sensitive airline demands.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Receive and scan incoming shipments of food products
โ€ข Record accurate inventory data in the designated system
โ€ข Complete routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
โ€ข Monitor stock levels and restock items to avoid shortages
โ€ข Organize shelves and storage areas according to food safety and quality standards
โ€ข Rotate inventory using first in first out practices
โ€ข Unbox and store shipments following proper handling procedures
โ€ข Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment safely
โ€ข Load and unload trucks while protecting product quality
โ€ข Use proper lifting techniques for heavy or bulky products
โ€ข Work in cooler environments while following temperature control guidelines
โ€ข Handle food items with care to maintain quality and prevent contamination
โ€ข Support warehouse needs as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
โ€ข One year of food safety knowledge required
โ€ข One year of pallet jack experience preferred
โ€ข Ability to lift, push, and pull up to seventy-five pounds
โ€ข Ability to work in cold and warm environments
โ€ข Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
โ€ข Must follow safety procedures at all times
โ€ข Reliable attendance and teamwork required
