Chick-fil-A West Boca Raton is hiring a Highly Skilled Food Truck Driver!

Are you enthusiastic about providing great food to customers with a fun and caring attitude?

As a Food Truck Driver, you will be a crucial part of our team, contributing to the success of our locally owned and operated restaurant. In addition to competitive pay, you will enjoy flexible schedules, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, and 401k benefits.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Food Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will not only be responsible for driving the food truck to and from events but also for actively participating in the setup, service, and breakdown of the food truck operations during events. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the move, engaging with customers, and contributing to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and drive the food truck to various locations, including events and community activities.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of the food truck at each event, ensuring everything is ready for service.
  • Work on the truck during events, including taking orders, preparing food, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving the food truck.
  • Ensure the food truck is well-maintained, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies before and after each event.
  • Maintain accurate records of truck mileage, fuel usage, and event reports.
  • Communicate effectively with the event coordinator and other team members to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Perform routine checks and minor maintenance of the food truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Provide exceptional service and represent the company in a positive and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (required upon hiring).
  • Previous experience in driving large vehicles, such as trucks or vans, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ablility to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
