We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, solutions-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across multiple departments.

Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator is an integral part of our team and is responsible for facilitating the movement of products through logistical channels while ensuring accurate, timely deliveries and an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage carrier performance by tracing and recording shipments assigned by dispatchers.
  • File carrier claims, collect funds from carriers, and work toward resolution of failed deliveries involving overages, shortages, and damages.
  • Partner with dispatchers to resolve delivery issues in the marketplace.
  • Provide creative, timely solutions to Sales and Procurement teams to overcome challenges related to deliveries, billing, proof of delivery (POD), carrier services, and other transportation needs.
  • Research, record, and maintain carrier and customer files and statistics used to support the company's logistical supply chain.
  • Maintain accurate and organized transportation and shipment records.
  • Assist with special projects and other logistics-related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications & Skills

We're looking for someone who is organized, analytical, and comfortable solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and make calculated, rational decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in the transportation industry preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with closely related transportation functions preferred.
  • Experience with LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) and TL (Truckload) transportation preferred.
  • Experience in frozen, refrigerated, or other temperature-controlled transportation environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with warehousing and warehouse operations as they relate to transportation is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay: $26.00 per hour

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

This position is primarily performed in an office setting at a desk equipped with a computer, monitors, phone, and other applicable resources and equipment. The position routinely requires sitting at a desk and walking short distances throughout the office, primarily on level surfaces, during the workday.
