Job description

School Food Service Kitchen Manager needed for food service program in the Hamilton, NJ  area.  Monday through Friday, day shift. No weekends, or holidays. Summers off.Kitchen Management experience is required. School Food Service experience is a plus. ServSafe® certification is preferred. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.This is a Union Position to begin for the 2026/2027 school year.Over see kitchen operation on a daily basis.Be sure all menu items are based on the guidelines of the NSLP Serving, food preparation.Observe that the quality, and food safety procedures are being followed at all timesObserve that personal protection equipment (PPE) is in use at all times.Prepare inventories, and month end paperwork.Over see Kitchen staff, and staffing needs.
