PLUMBING SERVICE SALES MANAGER
With over 20 years of experience, Our Client has protected thousands of properties, including residential, commercial, and government buildings, through a unique patented process. They are seeking a Plumbing Service Sales Manager to join their team to oversee service teams, plan and organize production schedules, and assess projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Ability to handle scheduling, inventory control, and troubleshooting
- Proven ability to manage teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate service delivery and resolve field issues
- Monitor inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and cost control
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Review and produce project estimates, approve invoices, and manage departmental budgets
- Implement and track KPIs to improve operational efficiency and team productivity
- Review current service/warranty crews and realign as necessary to ensure excellent customer service, productivity, and efficiency
- Train and mentor technicians on establishing customer trust to sell the right products and services
- Provide technical support for field technicians when necessary
- Coordinate with dispatchers on scheduling and ensure assets are utilized to maximize efficiency and reduce cancellations
- Develop close working relationships with service crews to understand team dynamics, strengths, and areas for improvement
- Fully understand and effectively communicate the services and processes for all types of jobs Our Client performs, using a sales-driven approach to grow the division
- Know when to step in to support service technicians directly and when to provide background coaching to allow teams to develop and grow professionally
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 4+ years as a Journeyman Plumber or Journeyman License
- 8+ years of plumbing experience required; C-36 license is a plus
- Proven track record in service with 5+ years managing a team of 8+ individuals in the plumbing service industry
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of plumbing service operations and processes
- High integrity with advanced interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
- Highly motivated self-starter with flexibility and a positive attitude
- Valid CA Driver’s License, good driving history, dependable transportation, and ability to pass a background check
- Prior mentorship experience and comfort in a leadership/mentorship role preferred
- Outgoing personality suited for a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
- Working proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and dispatch/service software such as Housecall Pro
- Demonstrated knowledge of local, state, and federal quality, safety, and health guidelines for job sites
