Position Overview

The Sr. Sales Director - Food Service is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading high-performing sales team across North America markets. This role oversees strategic account management, distributor relationships, and sales execution, while operating within a matrix organization. The position carries full accountability for achieving national sales targets and developing long-term growth strategies within the food service sector.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies across food service channels, including broadline distribution, QSR, and hospitality.
  • Drive revenue growth and market share expansion across North America markets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base within the food service sector.

Sales Execution & Performance

  • Achieve and exceed national and regional sales targets.
  • Establish sales forecasts, budgets, and P&L objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including revenue, margin, and ROI.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales team.
  • Manage brokers, distributors, and regional sales leaders.

Key Account & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with major distributors and key accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee and develop detailed reporting processes.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and compliance standards.

Global Collaboration

  • Align stakeholders across a matrix organization.
  • Support national sales planning and execution.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- 10-15+ years of progressive sales experience
- Food service industry experience
- Strong financial and P&L management experience

The expected salary range for this position is $175,000 - $185,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
