Your Role as a Food Service Director

As a Food Service Director, you’ll lead a team to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality operations in food service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Budget Management: Oversee and control the food service budget to meet financial goals.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate a diverse team of staff and inmate workers.
  • Operations Oversight: Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including purchasing, inventory management, and scheduling.
