The Food Lion To-Go associate is responsible for providing a convenient and efficient online grocery shopping experience for the customers. This role involves selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders with accuracy and care, while delivering excellent customer service during pickup interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick and pack online grocery orders based on customer selections.
  • Ensure product quality by selecting fresh and properly dated items.
  • Substitue items when necessary, following store guidelines and customer preferences.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding substitutions or order updates.
  • Stage orders for timely pickup.
  • Assist customers during pickup, including loading groceries into vehicles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the To-Go area.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other store departments.
  • Meet productivity and accuracy standards set by management. 
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Abitlity to stand, bend, walk for extended periods of time.
