Position Overview

The Auxiliary Operator is responsible for coordinating all Auxiliary processes to ensure accurate batching, timely ingredient supply, and seamless production flow. This role supports VTIS and Silo Operators by ensuring base/blend availability on demand while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and GMP standards.


What You'll Do
  • Coordinate all Auxiliary processes, including batching, ingredient handling, and documentation 
  • Execute batching accurately according to customer batch sheets 
  • Order, inspect, and manage ingredients to ensure production readiness 
  • Ensure base/blend is prepared on time for VTIS or Silo Operators 
  • Maintain accurate batch records and product measurements (pH, Brix, viscosity, etc.) 
  • Perform start-up checks, monitor equipment, and troubleshoot issues as needed 
  • Manage base inventory, minimize product loss, and maintain yield control 
  • Execute and document CIP (Clean-in-Place) processes and system hookups 
  • Follow and enforce all safety, GMP, food safety, and quality standards 
  • Coordinate team tasks and support operators during production runs 
  • Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, speed) per batch sheet 
  • Perform additional duties or support other areas as assigned

  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute batch sheets accurately 
  • Strong understanding of GMP, food safety, and safety protocols 
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) 
  • Ability to convert units of measure (e.g., gallons to pounds, percentages) 
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, and listening) 
  • High attention to detail with accurate and legible documentation 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and operate process equipment/control panels 
  • Knowledge of WCM principles (preferred) 
  • Experience with batching, CIP processes, and production environments (preferred)
