Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Solutions & Head of Street Sales Canada for Entegra, you will champion the growth of Entegra's value-added group purchasing services across all segments in the Manitoba and Saskatchewan provinces.  Your selling, business development, relationship building, and closing skills will demonstrate and promote Entegra culture, values and management philosophy.  You will develop a pipeline of clients, research the industry and potential, source and develop relationships with potential clients and cooperate with our Vendor and Distributor Partners to develop proposals for new business. You will take an active part in developing new service packages and focus on building lasting relationships with our current and prospective partners.

Your leadership and contribution to the Entegra team will ensure the growth in volume and profitability in your geographic region. Working towards targets, you are naturally motivated to achieve and exceed your targets. You are a hunter by nature, and you love sales.  You are used to being held accountable for your results. You are a team-player, who knows when and who to bring in to close the deal. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate our core values of Service Spirit, Team Spirit and Spirit of Progress and help lead Entegra be a leader in strategic procurement services solutions.  

More specifically, you will:

  • Deliver on defined sales targets to ensure that Entegra enjoy targeted aggressive and profitable growth
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to identify key areas of growth potential including identification, prospect qualification, organization survey, proposal development, proposal delivery and contract negotiation.
  • Develop and manage a structured pipeline of new business potential using Salesforce in cooperation with Key Vendor and Distributor Partners
  • Establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship resulting in highest levels of client and customer satisfaction and account retention, and future business growth plans
  • Interface with all levels of management for purposes of consultation, intervention and facilitation of strategic sales experiences.
  • Maintain awareness of industry, competition and market conditions and leverage current client relationships to develop new business opportunities
  • Provide direction on implementation and delivery of sales needs and create a competitive advantage through the design, development and recommendation of sales and marketing programs.
Qualifications

What you'll need to succeed:

  • The preferred candidate will have experience in group purchasing and/or experience selling to food service industry, on behalf of a food product distributor or vendor
  • Proven success in selling value-based solutions to business clients, multi-unit account sales preferred
  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Fast-paced, results-oriented
  • Strong communicator - both verbally and in writing
  • Confident, focused and possesses excellent presentation skills
  • Ability and experience responding to RFP’s
  • Proficient with numbers, particularly as it relates to sales
  • English is required
