Job description

Responsibilities

  • Leads category strategy development for raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend, supported by spend analysis, supplier segmentation, and market/risk assessments.
  • Serves as the primary liaison for key suppliers, supporting new product launches, supplier setup, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Implements and optimizes systems—including NetSuite, supplier management tools, ticketing workflows, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365—to streamline purchasing operations.
  • Develops and enhances analytics capabilities such as Power BI reporting, supplier performance tracking, diversity reporting, and dry‑goods monitoring.
  • Drives departmental administration through coaching, team development, SOP documentation, organizational improvements, and staffing planning.
  • Manages cross‑functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives focused on supply chain efficiency, IT transformation, process redesign, and operational problem‑solving.


Qualifications

  • Food manufacturing experience in raw materials
  • Strong background in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain operations across industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven record in vendor negotiations, cost optimization, and supplier performance management.
  • Experienced in strategic sourcing, contract management, and ERP systems (SAP-certified trainer).


Salary: $80k + Quarterly bonus
