Job description

JCCGCI Inc. is looking to hire a Cook for our Center. The Cook is responsible for food preparation, cooking, service, supervising kitchen staff, and adhering to sanitation standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Menu planning; submitting orders and properly storing food.
  • Coordinate food preparation, meal service, and clean-up.
  • Safety: ensure that food is at a proper temperature, and maintain a clean environment.
  • Taking inventory and keeping record of food usage.
  • Attend required trainings and complete required courses.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Cook.
  • Valid Food Protection Certificate
  • Ability to stand for long hours
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Willing to work early morning hours
  • Can read, write, and speak in English
