Role Purpose Statement

We are seeking an energetic and engaging leader who thrives in a fast-paced food production environment and is passionate about leading teams focused on delivering high-quality products to our customers.

The ideal candidate will effectively motivate, coach, and develop employees while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. This individual will also play a key role in driving employee engagement and ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and performance initiatives.

Main Accountabilities

Supervisor Responsibility

1.    Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed and that all delivery times are being met timely
2.    Oversee the assembly and preparation of cold items, maintaining quality control, and ensuring on-time delivery.
3.    Schedule and control staff to meet labor productivity and overtime targets
4.    Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards (example: Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), etc.)
5.    Document and follow up on all department processes in order to implement improvements
6.    Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights
7.    Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
8.    Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
9.    Identify bottlenecks, document processes, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and Other duties as deemed necessary

Leadership

1.    Guide, motivate and develop staff within the Human Resources policies
2.    Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)
3.    Manage productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations
4.    Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and Production systems

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

1.    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge preferred
2.    Ione to three of experience in a food production environment or related work experience required
3.    Problem solving and leadership skills
4.    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
5.    Ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results & achieve productivity goals
6.    Working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA and EPA regulations
7.    Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required along with the ability to multi-task
8.    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
