Job description

Job Summary:
The Blender Operator at Newly Weds Food in Gerald, MO will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blender machine to process raw ingredients and produce dry food blends. This is a full-time, 3rd shift position that requires an individual who is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and has a strong understanding of food processing equipment. The Blender Operator will report to the Production Supervisor and work closely with other team members to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality dry food blends.

Responsibilities:
โ€ข Operate the blender machine in accordance with standard operating procedures
โ€ข Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to ensure desired blend consistency
โ€ข Ensure all ingredients are properly measured and weighed before loading into the blender
โ€ข Maintain accurate production and inventory records
โ€ข Perform regular quality checks on blends to ensure they meet company standards
โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment malfunctions or issues in a timely manner
โ€ข Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
โ€ข Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
โ€ข Assist with other production tasks as needed
Requirements:

โ€ข Minimum of 1 year of experience operating food processing equipment, preferably a blender

โ€ข Basic math skills and ability to accurately measure and weigh ingredients
โ€ข Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
