At Four Seasons, we believe in recognizing a familiar face, welcoming a new one and treating everyone we meet the way we would want to be treated ourselves. Whether you work with us, stay with us, live with us or discover with us, we believe our purpose is to create impressions that will stay with you for a lifetime. It comes from our belief that life is richer when we truly connect to the people and the world around us.

About the location:

Lisbon's most iconic address. Located in the heart of Lisbon, our historic Hotel wears the cultural heart and soul of Portugal on its sleeve. Inside, art-deco sensibilities mingle with an updated Louis XVI style, and a collection of important contemporary local artwork fills our halls. Outside, views of the city's rolling hills and brightly tiled exteriors spread out before you. After spending the day exploring the city sights, many just steps from the Hotel, we invite you for a seasonally inspired, Michelin-starred gastronomic experience at CURA restaurant.

About the role

The Public Relations Manager is a key member of the Commercial Team, responsible for supporting initiatives that enhance visibility and strengthen the hotel's reputation across global and local markets. Working closely with the Director of PR & Marketing and the wider Commercial Leadership Team, the role contributes to driving awareness through print media, social channels, and selected digital touchpoints.

The position supports marketing and advertising initiatives, contributes to the execution of the annual PR plan, and coordinates key digital communications, including email campaigns and the enewsletter, playing an important role in reinforcing a strong and positive brand image.

What you will do

  • Support the development and execution of PR initiatives that enhance awareness and strengthen the positive image of the hotel, spa, dining venues, experiences, and leadership, in alignment with the overall brand and marketing strategy.
  • Secure impactful media coverage across global and local outlets through targeted research, editorial planning, and proactive pitching, with a focus on key leisure and group feeder markets.
  • Pitch tailored story ideas, organize media visits, coordinate interviews, and host familiarization trips to highlight the hotel's offerings and generate meaningful coverage.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with media partners, ensuring timely and effective distribution of press releases, media kits, story pitches, and supporting materials.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of press releases and story starters on the Four Seasons Press Room, maintaining consistency with brand guidelines and global communications standards.
  • Contribute to the annual PR plan as part of the integrated marketing strategy, supporting agreed objectives, segment strategies, and priority initiatives under the direction of the Director of PR & Marketing.
  • Support digital communication initiatives by coordinating the creation and execution of the enewsletter and email campaigns, and contributing content to microsites and other online assets to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Manage the monitoring and coordination of online reviews and the hotel's digital reputation across key platforms, supporting timely, professional, and brandaligned responses in collaboration with relevant operational teams.
  • Manage a comprehensive and uptodate image and video library, ensuring assets are readily available to support media, marketing, and brand needs.
  • Ensure all communications, promotions, and marketing materials comply with Four Seasons brand standards and reflect the highest level of quality and professionalism.
  • Manage PR agency partnerships for the hotel and food and beverage outlets, ensuring proactive planning, consistent storytelling, and effective execution aligned with approved objectives.
  • Manage the daytoday execution of social media activities for the hotel and F&B outlets, ensuring content is engaging, onbrand, and aligned with broader marketing and communications plans.
  • Manage influencer and partnership relationships, coordinating activations, deliverables, and ongoing engagement to ensure brandaligned, authentic, and measurable outcomes.
  • Manage PR and marketing projects with a forwardthinking approach, overseeing timelines, priorities, and crossfunctional coordination.
  • Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all communication channels, safeguarding tone, visual standards, and storytelling.
  • Produce highquality written content for press materials, digital platforms, and marketing communications.
  • Monitor and report on PR, digital, and social media performance, providing analysis and insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Manage PR budgets responsibly, ensuring alignment with approved plans and financial guidelines.
  • Plan and execute food and beverage activations and campaigns in close collaboration with culinary, operations, and marketing teams.
  • Support the planning and execution of photo and video shoots, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and is suitable for global and local use.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in public relations, gained within a communications agency, hotel group, or luxury, fashion, or FMCG brand.
  • Strong media relations expertise, supported by advanced experience and an established network of media contacts.

  • Experience coordinating and overseeing photo shoots and video productions, from planning through execution.
  • Strong understanding of journalism principles and familiarity with broadcast production processes.
