Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Transformative Healing Services, your role will involve a variety of essential duties aimed at promoting mental well-being among students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments utilizing structured interviews, questionnaires, and observation to accurately diagnose mental health conditions.
• Creating personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based techniques, focusing on modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address specific mental health issues.
• Providing individual and group therapy sessions, adapting your therapeutic approach to suit the diverse needs of clients within the school environment.
• Maintaining stringent compliance with HIPAA regulations while documenting clinical notes and progress reports that reflect clients' treatment journeys.
• Engaging in multidisciplinary approaches by collaborating with school staff, including teachers, psychologists, and administrators, to ensure a holistic approach to every child's care.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Hold an active and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience, particularly focused on psychotherapy services.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based psychotherapeutic models, particularly solution-focused interventions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with a variety of stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits
