Job Overview
We are looking for a Food Manufacturing Sanitation Lead to join our production team. In this role, you will be required to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate is experienced in cleaning operations within food production environments, possesses strong supervisory skills, and is passionate about creating a safe and clean workspace for everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily sanitation activities in food manufacturing areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Work with and supervise a team of sanitation workers, providing clear instructions.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Train and work with team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of sanitation activities, inspections, and compliance reports for internal audits and regulatory inspections.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HACCP and food safety protocols within food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning practices, including equipment operation, chemical handling, and sanitation standards.
  • Leadership experience and skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
