Short Intro and About the Job

Job Responsibilities

    • Develop US + Canada Analytical Organization/ Analytical Excellence (AE) strategy by leveraging Global Analytical Excellence strategy
    • Drive this regional strategy by communicating and supporting sites executing analytical performance programs, including standards, trainings, audits, PT, alternative methods, and digital initiatives
    • Be a strong local partner for the AE team to advocate for high QFS analytical compliance
    • Drive the Regional AE organization at regional, business unit, site level, including regional labs where existing
    • Secure execution of analytical standards integrating business impact assessment (resources, CAPEX)
    • Drive CAPEX prioritization, allocation, and engagement for lab related activities at regional, business unit, site level
    • Stay aware of region, business unit, site performance KPI and action plan progresses linked to audits & PT, with specific follow-up for sensitive cases
    • Global animation of lab network within business unit, region and leverage local standardization initiatives
    • Act as the key contact for local auditor team management, including auditor qualification, audit planning, follow up
    • Facilitate Coman lab audit program in interface with global AE and the co-manufacturer cell
    • Identify and escalate analytical needs related to region, business unit
    • Identify AE transversal projects in which region can contribute

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • This role will require local and global travel on a regular basis

The salary range for this position is $136,000-245,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.  Danone North America additionally offers a performance-based bonus and has a strong benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement, Flexible Time Off, and Paid Parental Bonding Leave, among other benefit plan options. About You

Education & Experience

  • Master/PhD degree or equivalent with a specialization in analytical science, and/or lab applied IT
  • At least 10 years of experience in lab related activities with at least 5 years under ISO 17025 accreditation (lab operational activities/management, QMS, audits) and IT applied to performance in labs

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • ISO 17025, GLP, lab QMS, auditing, QFS strategy. Statistical background, LIMS & BI tools advanced knowledge, digitalization strategy in lab environment
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage complexity
