Zenith Mind Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is fully remote and will cater to a diverse population of students within a school setting in Silver Spring, Maryland. • Act as a liaison between families, students, and outpatient providers, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
• Manage interactions with insurance companies, including facilitating pre-certification requests and utilization management processes.
• Contribute to the planning of discharges and aftercare services, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive support as they transition out of care.
• Conduct therapeutic meal support sessions and help clients develop a healthy relationship with food, demonstrating effective techniques and fostering positive behaviors.
• Provide empathetic and affirming care tailored to each client's unique circumstances, considering their intersecting identities and experiences.

In this role, you will primarily serve school-age children, adolescents, and their families, addressing complex emotional and psychological needs. By working in the educational setting, you have the opportunity to impact the mental health and well-being of youth during critical developmental stages, helping them navigate challenges and enhance their resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Maryland is mandatory.
• Experience working with older adults is essential, as our population occasionally includes multi-generational families.
• Demonstrated strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a focus on best practices in mental health care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, essential for building relationships with clients and collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.

• Experience in school-based mental health services is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and interventions.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to effectively manage client records and sessions.
• Broad knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to mental health services.

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
