Job description

Deli-Prepared Foods Cooks are responsible for preparing food by cooking, grilling, frying, sautéing, baking and displaying food for menu items, customer orders, prepared foods, meal solutions and deli cases. Cooks will also operate grills, stoves, ovens, mixers, slicers, fryers, scales as well as wrap and price items within the deli and prepared foods departments. They will prepare food for special customer orders, clean dishes; fill displays while also assisting customers with purchases and any other tasks assigned by management. Deli-Prepared Food Cooks are responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following all safety rules set in place by the store.
