Description

Food & Beverage Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead and elevate our restaurant operations across the resort. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about developing teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving business performance.

As a key leader, you will collaborate with the Vice President of Great Eastern Purveyors to oversee multiple dining operations, coach and develop managers, and play a critical role in shaping innovative food and beverage offerings that appeal to both resort guests and the local community.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and support restaurant managers across multiple locations, ensuring operational excellence
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and cost control
  • Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and product mix optimization
  • Develop and execute staff training, leadership development, and performance management programs
  • Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce new products and concepts
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and ABC regulations
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence in operations with a hands‑on leadership approach
  • Build relationships with vendors, partners, and the local community
What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills (including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications)
  • 3-5 Years of food and beverage management experience
  • Understanding of ABC regulations
  • Knowledgeable with adult beverages (beer, wine, and liquor)
Desired Qualifications
  • Resort, hospitality, or tourism experience
  • Industry‑specific knowledge of operations including point of sale systems
  • Virginia ABC Manager Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • ServSafe Certification
