POSITION: F&B Runner
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Senior Food and Beverage Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt- Part Time-Hourly
Legends Global, the world's leading venue management and services company, has an and immediate opening for the position of F&B Runner in Richmond, Virginia. Under direction of the Director of Food & Beverage and/or Food and Beverage Managers, the Part Time Runner's primary responsibilities include the following functions in accordance with Legends policies.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the stocking and rotation of products at all concession locations on a daily basis. This position will also assist in receiving and storage of all products and maintenance and cleaning of foodservice equipment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Rotates inventory practicing FIFO (first in, first out)

Restock storage areas and concession locations with incoming product deliveries, ensuring inventory Is organized, rotated, and readily available for service

Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas and concession stands

Product transfers; pre-event and during event, ensures proper storage

Set-up and tear-down of portable concession locations

Follow and receive direction from Food & Beverage Managers

Assist with recording of monthly inventory

Maintains professional relationships with all coworkers, clients and guests.

Follows checklists and standard operating procedures.

Punches clock in full uniform, ready to work, no earlier than ten minutes prior to shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
6 months of foodservice and/or warehouse experience is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience bartending preferred.
Ability to handle high stress situations
Ability to read, speak and understand English
Clear Credit Screen required
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time. Ability to communicate and execute instructions via radio (walkie talkie) Requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Compensation: In accordance with Virginia law, the hourly rate for this position is $15.00 per hour, plus tips, where applicable.
