We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to help lead the full scope of food and beverage operations at Hutton Brickyards, from restaurant and bar service to weddings, special events, and unique culinary experiences across the property.

As Food & Beverage Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in creating exceptional experiences throughout our food and beverage operation. You'll partner closely with culinary, events, and property leadership to ensure seamless execution, strong financial performance, and consistently elevated service across every guest touchpoint.

This role goes beyond managing a single outlet. We're looking for a versatile hospitality leader who understands how restaurant service, beverage, events, culinary operations, and the overall guest experience come together. You thrive in a dynamic environment, know how to develop great teams, and are equally comfortable engaging with guests, analyzing costs, supporting a large event, or jumping into service when needed.

• Help lead day-to-day food and beverage operations across the property, including restaurant, bar, events, and other dining experiences.
• Ensure a consistent and elevated level of service across all food and beverage outlets and guest experiences.
• Maintain a visible, hands‑on leadership presence throughout the operation, engaging with guests and supporting teams during peak service periods.
• Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure strong communication, consistency, and execution between front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.
• Collaborate with culinary and property leadership on menus, seasonal offerings, beverage programming, promotions, and special experiences.
• Support the execution of weddings, private events, group functions, and property programming to ensure exceptional food and beverage service.
• Anticipate guest needs, actively seek feedback, and resolve concerns with professionalism, urgency, and genuine hospitality.
• Continually identify opportunities to enhance the food and beverage experience and differentiate Hutton Brickyards within the Hudson Valley market.

• Support restaurant and bar operations while ensuring service standards, product quality, and presentation remain consistent.
• Help develop and maintain beverage offerings that complement the culinary program and overall Hutton Brickyards experience.
• Oversee proper beverage inventory, purchasing, controls, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Partner with the Events and Culinary teams to coordinate staffing, service execution, and operational needs for weddings, social events, and group business.
• Ensure smooth transitions between daily restaurant operations and special events occurring throughout the property.
• Create consistency in service standards across restaurant, bar, and event experiences.

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop food and beverage associates and supervisors.
• Build a collaborative culture rooted in hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and genuine care for the guest experience.
• Establish clear service expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to strengthen performance.
• Identify high‑potential associates and create opportunities for professional development and advancement.
• Partner with leadership to ensure appropriate staffing levels across restaurant, bar, and event operations.
• Lead by example and maintain a willingness to step into the operation wherever support is needed.

• Monitor food and beverage revenue, labor, costs, inventory, and other key operating metrics.
• Manage scheduling and staffing to support business levels while maintaining labor and financial objectives.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, inventory management, and cost‑control initiatives.
• Monitor food and beverage costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability without compromising the guest experience.
• Maintain appropriate operational and inventory controls to ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Partner with property and culinary leadership on strategies to increase revenue, improve profitability, and maximize food and beverage opportunities throughout the property.

• Ensure compliance with all company food and beverage policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Maintain adherence to food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure associates understand and consistently follow New York State liquor laws, food handling requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, safety, and presentation throughout all food and beverage areas.
• Take a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach to operational challenges, guest concerns, and service opportunities.

We're seeking a Food & Beverage Manager who combines strong operational knowledge with a passion for hospitality and an understanding of the many moving pieces behind a successful hotel and resort food and beverage operation.

You should be comfortable moving between restaurant service, beverage operations, weddings and events, financial performance, and team leadership while maintaining a consistent focus on the guest experience.

• Previous food and beverage leadership experience, preferably within an upscale hotel, luxury resort, boutique property, restaurant, or event‑driven hospitality environment.
• Experience overseeing multiple aspects of food and beverage operations, such as restaurant, bar, banquets, catering, weddings, or special events.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage operations and elevated hospitality standards.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop high‑performing teams.
• Experience managing labor, scheduling, inventory, operational costs, and financial performance.
• Strong understanding of beverage controls, food and beverage cost management, and inventory procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Culinary, Events, Sales, and hotel leadership.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Ability to remain composed, adaptable, and solutions‑focused in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business and event needs.
• Hotel, resort, luxury, or event‑driven food and beverage experience strongly preferred.

• You're a well‑rounded food and beverage leader who can see beyond a single restaurant or outlet.
• You understand how restaurant, bar, culinary, weddings, events, and guest experience all work together.
• You're comfortable moving from reviewing labor and costs to being on the floor supporting a busy service.
• You have a strong understanding of beverage operations and know how thoughtful programming can enhance both the guest experience and financial performance.
• You're energized by special events and understand the precision and collaboration required to execute them successfully.
• You develop people, set clear expectations, and create accountability while maintaining a positive team culture.
• You understand that luxury hospitality is personal, thoughtful, and genuine.

$75,000 - $80,000 Annually
