About the role
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager in leading Evelyn's Restaurant, the signature restaurant of Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale. This role ensures that every dining experience reflects the relaxed sophistication and coastal elegance of our property. With its modern Mediterranean-inspired menu, vibrant flavors, and oceanfront setting, Evelyn's is a destination for both hotel guests and the local community.
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant, providing hands-on leadership to the service team, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring consistent delivery of Four Seasons' world-renowned service standards. This role requires a strong sense of hospitality, a genuine passion for food and beverage, and the ability to inspire a team in creating memorable moments.
What you bring
• 1-2 years of restaurant leadership experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-profile restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of luxury service standards.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to provide leadership guidance and support for a dynamic team.
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Micros POS and Microsoft Office suite preferred/is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Excellent written/verbal presentation skills. Reading, oral and written proficiency in the English language.
• Superior sense of organization and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to be on his/her feet; engaged in the daily operation.
