Position Overview

This role serves as thefront lines, first point of contact for individualsseekingfoodassistance.As theNeighborServices Receptionist, youprovide administrative support, excellent customer service, and overall coordination between client entry points (helpline and walk-ins) and allCentral Texas Food Bank (CTFB)client programs.This position serves as the primary front-desk representative and first point of contact for neighbors, conducting client intake for the market, managing helpline inquiries, and providing information, screening, andreferrals.This roleinteractswith diverse populations to help supportCTFB'smissionto nourish hungry people and lead the community in the fight against hunger.

Building andmaintainingcollaborative and meaningful relationships is a corecomponentof this position.Reporting to theNeighborServices Managerwithin theNeighbor Programs+Services department,this positionneedsto nurture strong connections withcolleagues on various teams,especiallyBenefits and Enrollment Services,WorkforceTraining,CommunityNutrition,Food Sourcing,andLogisticsto ensureappropriateand efficient connections to services for ourneighbors.Proven anddemonstratedprofessionalism and effective communication skills to achieve goals are necessary for this role.
