What You'll Do
As a Frame Assembly Technician, you'll play a critical role in building and preparing plate heat exchanger units for our customers. This position combines mechanical assembly, quality inspection, material handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble heat exchanger frames using work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and bills of materials
  • Complete quality inspections and testing using inspection sheets, specifications, and photographs
  • Operate overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks
  • Build skids and pallets and prepare equipment for shipment
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively
  • Accurately count, document, and track components and materials
  • Handle and maneuver large, heavy frame components
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives
  • Support production needs and perform other duties as assigned

What Makes You Successful
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Mechanically inclined with an interest in hydraulic assembly
  • Experience using pneumatic, hand, and power tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow bills of materials
  • Experience operating forklifts and cranes
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and assignments
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade school or vocational education
  • Experience with hydraulic systems and assemblies
  • Advanced manufacturing or industrial assembly experience

Physical Requirements
This role requires:
  • Standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Working in and around large industrial equipment
  • Working underneath and around confined assembly spaces
  • Regular lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Following all safety guidelines and 5S workplace principles
