We are seeking a friendly and dependable Front of House Associate to join our team in Sanger, CA. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food and beverage preparation, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food service setting.


Job Title: Front of the House Associates

Location: Sanger, CA

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Shifts Available: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift


Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers while providing friendly and professional service.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards.
  • Prepare sandwich and salad orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Maintain serving areas, counters, and workstations in a clean and sanitary condition.
  • Properly store leftover food items and follow food safety procedures.
  • Assist with cleaning workstations, equipment, floors, shelving, dishes, containers, pans, and utensils.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
  • Maintain proper personal hygiene and wear required uniforms while working.
  • Participate in company training and follow established procedures.
  • Provide respectful and responsive service to customers and team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 6 months of previous food service, customer service, or related experience preferred.
  • Previous cashier or POS system experience preferred.
  • Valid California Food Handler Card required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
  • Dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts consistently.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle food, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. as needed.
  • May be exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving equipment, outdoor conditions, and varying temperatures.
  • Must follow all required safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, protective footwear, and other required safety gear.
