A Front of House Manager at Chick-fil-A Oregon is a leadership role responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, ensuring excellence, and building a culture of hospitality, growth, and care. This role combines hands-on leadership with operational oversight to deliver strong guest experiences and develop Team Members and Leaders.

In this role, you oversee FOH operations including guest service, order taking, dining room hospitality, drive-thru execution, and guest flow. You lead Team Members and Shift Leaders in real time to maintain smooth, efficient operations in a clean, welcoming environment. You coach performance, uphold standards, and step in as needed to support the shift.
This fast-paced position requires strong communication, situational awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Successful Front of House Managers lead with urgency and care while maintaining high standards for speed, accuracy, hospitality, and teamwork.
Role
As a Front of House Manager at Chick-fil-A Oregon, you are stepping into a key leadership role, responsible for guiding our team, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of growth and hospitality.
Managers serve as both strategic leaders and hands-on support, ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly while empowering Team Members to reach their full potential. This position involves overseeing specific areas of the restaurant’s operations, leading shifts, coaching Team Members and Leaders, and collaborating closely with the leadership team to achieve performance goals.
Availability & Role Requirements
- Minimum Full-Time Availability: 32+ hours a week
- Be available to lead at least 2 closing shifts per week (start at 4pm), with one of those closes being either Friday or Saturday
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Willingness to become ServSafe certified

What you will be doing
- Ownership of the entirety of the FOH guest experience (all destinations, dayparts, etc.)
- Oversee and improve all FOH operational systems and processes
- Aware of the staffing for all days and dayparts in the FOH
- Lead, train, and develop the entire FOH Team Leader Team to run great shifts
- Lead, train, and develop all FOH Team Members to serve guests well
- Create and update individual scoreboards for direct reports
- Troubleshoot issues with IT, equipment, and systems/processes in the FOH
- Lead monthly FOH Team Leader meetings
- Organize and provide strategy around achieving our thematic goal as it pertains to the FOH
- Conduct bi-annual performance reviews for team leaders and team members
- Ensuring interpersonal team member relationships are strong and healthy
- Support and mentor Team Members, Shift Leaders to build a cohesive and effective team.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic planning, goal setting, and performance analysis.
- Handle and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain a hands-on presence, working alongside the team during peak hours.
- Close at least two nights per week, including either a Friday or Saturday night (required).

Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule (including mornings, evenings, weekends).
- Comfortable handling cash and managing financial reconciliation.
- Good organizational skills and ability to delegate and follow through.
- Strong alignment with Chick-fil-A Oregon values.
