Job description

Summary
You know how to work a transaction. You've closed deals. You understand the business.
But maybe you're tired of chasing anyone who will sign a buyer's agreement. Tired of competing on price and hoping the next lead converts. Tired of feeling like your skills are scattered across clients who don't have a lot in common.
What if your next chapter had a focus?
Homefront United Realty is a military-specific real estate brokerage serving the San Antonio area. We exist to help military families navigate PCS moves, VA loans, retirement transitions, and long-distance relocations - and we're looking for experienced agents who want to build a real business around a niche that matters.
This is not a "we'll figure it out as we go" brokerage. We have systems, tools, and a clear identity. You bring the experience. We provide the focus, the brand, and the operational support to run a cleaner, more purposeful business.
If you've been doing real estate for a while and you're ready to stop being everything to everyone - this might be the right move.
Responsibilities
  • Graduate from PLACE Launch
  • Consult with buyers, convert with signed buyer agreements and identify homes
  • Guide clients through VA loan eligibility, lender coordination, and the military-specific buying and selling process
  • Develop knowledge of base proximity, BAH, commute realities, and school zones relevant to JBSA, Randolph, and Lackland
  • Negotiate offers on behalf of your sellers and buyers
  • Track tasks and activities in PLACE Technology
  • Conduct two open houses monthly
  • Consult with sellers, convert to listings and market home
  • Demonstrate expertise on pricing strategies, staging and other listing related services
Qualifications
Who You Are:
• Active Texas real estate license required
• Minimum of 12 successful real estate closings
• Genuine interest in serving military families - not just as a marketing angle, but as the core of your practice
• Comfortable with virtual tours, video calls, and working with buyers who may not be local
• Strong communication habits and the ability to manage transactions with minimal hand-holding
• Familiarity with VA loans is a plus - if you don't know them well yet, you must be willing to learn them thoroughly
• Ability to generate your own leads and business within a defined niche
• A desire for independence with structure - not isolation, not micromanagement
This position is a strong fit for agents with 1-8 years of experience who have proven they can close deals and are ready to stop reinventing themselves with every new client. Military background or connection to the military community is a plus, but not required - what matters is that you genuinely care about serving this community well.
To apply, please send us a short note about why you love serving military families and your favorite local gem in San Antonio.
About-our-team
