As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your core responsibilities will encompass the following:

• Conduct thorough assessments of both couples and individuals, facilitating therapy sessions that address complex relational dynamics.
• Develop personalized treatment plans grounded in the unique needs of each client, integrating evidence-based therapeutic techniques and family systems theory.
• Utilize various modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and systemic therapy to guide effective sessions focused on family issues, communication challenges, and emotional well-being.
• Manage case documentation using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining up-to-date progress notes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery for patients.

Your work will primarily focus on supporting couples and families dealing with various challenges, including:

• Alcohol abuse and substance use disorders
• Physical and psychological abuse
• Grief and loss, including navigating the emotional journey through these difficult times
• Conflicts among family members and siblings, fostering better communication and connection within the family unit
• Transitions caused by separation, divorce, or remarriage, supporting individuals as they adjust to these life changes
• Addressing job-related stress and medical issues impacting family dynamics

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Oregon.
• A demonstrated commitment to providing ethical, culturally competent, and compassionate care to clients.
