Job description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Attention to Detail:
  • Required to minimize errors and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Perform quality checks on all outgoing and incoming shipments.
Reliability (Attendance, Task Trustworthiness):
  • Must consistently adhere to work schedules.
  • Must be dependable in carrying out responsibilities to completion.
Parts Order Pulling:
  • Locate the correct parts based on the order details. Stocking kanbans.
  • Ensure proper pulling, packing, and labeling of parts orders for shipping.
Order Packing:
  • Utilize spray foam and pre-shaped foam inserts to secure items in shipping boxes.
  • Ensure that all items are packed in a manner that prevents damage during transit.
Shipping Orders:
  • Process UPS and FedEx domestic orders through the respective shipping software.
  • Ensure that all packages have correct labeling and postage before dispatch.
RMA Receiving:
  • Unpack returned items and verify their condition.
  • Initiate the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process in the system.
Receiving:
  • Receive supplier deliveries and verify against purchase orders.
  • Inspect the condition of received goods and process them into inventory.
Forktruck Operation:
  • Safely operate forklifts for the movement of large and heavy items

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of shipping/receiving/warehouse process and previous lift truck experience preferred

Skills and Abilities
  • Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to teach others with compassion and understanding that all people learn differently

Warehouse Technicians typically work in a manufacturing or production environment. This may involve working in a factory or warehouse setting to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to safety navigate lift trucks around others in a manufacturing environment.
