Position Overview
Welcome to Martignetti Companies, the leading distributor of wine, beer, and spirits in New England.
The Leave of Absence (LOA) Administrator manages and coordinates employee leave programs across a multi-state organization of approximately 2,000 employees operating in 17 states. This role administers federal, state, and company leave programs, including FMLA, ADA-related leave accommodations, paid family and medical leave (PFML), state-mandated leave programs, workers' compensation coordination, military leave, and short-term disability (STD) programs.
This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with three days per week in our Taunton office and two remote workdays.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer FMLA, ADA, PFML, state leave, military, jury duty, workers' compensation, parental, and STD programs.
  • Manage leave cases from intake through return-to-work.
  • Determine eligibility and issue required notices and documentation.
  • Track leave durations, intermittent leave, extensions, and return-to-work dates.
  • Coordinate overlapping leave programs and disability claims.
  • Facilitate ADA interactive process and accommodations.
  • Monitor compliance with federal and state leave laws across 17 states.
  • Educate employees and managers regarding leave rights and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, HR, and third-party administrators.
  • Maintain records, reporting, audits, and compliance documentation.

Requirements
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Leave administration, compliance, case management, customer service, confidentiality, organization, problem-solving, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience supporting organizations with 1,000+ employees.
  • Knowledge of multiple state PFML programs.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state leave regulations.

Education/Experience/Training:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years administering FMLA, ADA, and multi-state leave programs.
  • Experience managing STD claims and disability vendors.Beverage/Food
  • Wholesale/Distribution Industry experience is a plus
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, etc.).

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $70,000- $75,000
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
