Position Description:
JTEC Consulting is hiring Journeyman level Data Entry Analyst with Air Force Financial Management (AF FM) experience to join our growing team working in support of the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) contract. Prior experience with SAF/FMFO Accounting Policy Operations is required. This role requires someone who is a self-starter, self-motivated, and results-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Support SAF/FMFO Accounting Policy Operations and interact with DAF Major Commands and bases in support of the day-to-day operations of Financial Management.
  • Analyze, reconcile, and correct necessary transactions to account for accounting discrepancies including missing contract mods, incorrect disbursements, missing accounts receivables bills, and D-to-O balancing.
  • Navigate AF accounting systems and feeder systems to perform data entry and data correction.
  • Analyze financial data using Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Power BI.
  • Analyze and resolve accounting issues identified by FM customers.
  • Provide support to the other teams within SAF/FMF, as needed, including surge and end of year processes.
  • Provide targeted assistance to users based on metrics, recurring critical task results, and results of other data analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications required include:
  • U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenship
  • Current Secret clearance
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience supporting end-to-end Air Force Financial Management Accounting or Budget systems
  • Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
    • Direct support for DoD FM processes and procedures for posting accounting entries
    • Navigating AF accounting systems and feeder systems for data entry and data correction
    • Analyzing financial data using Excel and Power BI
    • Analyzing and resolving accounting issues identified by FM customers
    • Providing direct support to AF FM users
  • Ability to analyze financial data using Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to brief and communicate effectively with senior leaders and managers
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to exceed in a blended government and contractor team environment
Preferred Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Azure, or High Bond
  • Experience reconciling contract / obligation documents
  • Experience reviewing miscellaneous collection and disbursement vouchers
  • Experience reconciling D-to-O balancing
  • Experience reviewing an Open Document Listing
  • Experience researching dormant obligations
