Job description

FM Global Logistics USA/Inter-Orient Services is seeking Sales Account Executive to develop new business opportunities. The position will identify and target new business for the company and establish relationship with customers. This position offers a commission structure for uncapped earning potential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and approach new business opportunities
  • Maintain & grow successful relationship with customers
  • Conduct sales activities required: sales calls per week, new customer visits per week, generate new sales leads, new accounts secured
  • Utilize presentations and prepare quotations to customers
  • Regularly contact customers to increase volume or market share
  • Work closely with operations, overseas agents & vendors to develop a collaborative relationship to ensure customers satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed sales threshold/quota as defined by the company
  • Analyze sales and profits to generate strategic actions
  • Provide customer service, become a problem solver and create solutions for customers
  • Any other assignments as directed by the Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree and 2+ years industry outside sales experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is plus
  • Previous international logistics/transportation sales experience highly preferred
  • Established presence in the market place preferred
  • Must have a proven sales track record in business development
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and maintain solid working relationships with clients and staff
