Join the transformation and help us make this impact now. We are seeking electrical engineers at all levels. The selected candidates will join a dynamic team working to put Great Systems on Orbit with capabilities to perform leading edge tasks in laser communications, space electronics and sensors. On any given day, the successful candidates may be asked to perform the following duties: Design custom high speed digital electronics including the use of ADCs, DACs, FPGAs, processors, and communications drivers. Design, and conduct analysis of, analog circuits including low-noise signal conditioning and power amplifiers. Provide expertise to both product development and R&D efforts. Collaborate with peers, leads, and managers to develop, review, and refine designs and analyses to meet program technical needs within defined time and budget constraints. Work within a broad-disciplined program team providing expertise in support of electronics manufacturing and test.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in electrical engineering or a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience can be considered instead of a master's degree.
Experience in design, analysis, integration, and test of custom electronics
Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools (such as Altium, SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, HyperLynx, and MS Office).
Ability to conduct circuit analysis and simulation to optimize performance and reliability.
**Must be a US citizen**
Desired Qualifications:
Understanding of space qualification standards and requirements.
Experience designing custom electronics for space products.
Experience designing to a defined requirement.
Experience with analysis necessary for high reliability space electronics hardware (Electrical stress analysis, worst case circuit analysis, and reliability analysis).
Experience producing PCB layouts
Experience and understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
Understanding of relevant IPC standards needed for electrical design and fabrication.
Experience developing and conducting testing of complex electronic sub-assemblies along with design of special test equipment (STE).
Experience deriving sub-assembly requirements from higher-level, flowed down, system requirements and defining test methodologies.
Experience developing design & verification documentation (Interface Control Document/Drawings (ICD), Design Description Document (DDD), Test Plan, Test Procedures, Test Reports, etc.).
Written and verbal communication skills necessary to present designs to internal and external stakeholders.
Able to complete assigned work within a defined timeline and budget.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.

Salary Range: $74,000 - $113,000
The AV pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
