• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify their presenting issues, psychological background, and specific treatment goals.

• Develop, monitor, and adjust personalized treatment plans that align with each student's progress and evolving needs.

• Actively participate in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training that enhance your clinical skills and knowledge of best practices.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Friendly Care P.C., you will primarily work with a diverse group of students ranging from elementary to high school age, each facing varied mental health challenges from anxiety and depression to family dynamics and social issues. Your expertise will serve not only to address immediate concerns but also to equip young individuals with lifelong skills to cope with future stressors.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a school or community mental health environment.
• Proficient clinical skills, including strong assessment abilities, treatment planning, and the implementation of various therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills, coupled with a deep sense of empathy and a strong ability to connect and build rapport with clients of all ages.

• Experience working with diverse populations in a school-based or similar community setting.
• Familiarity with educational systems and the specific challenges faced by students in varying environments.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and its application within school settings.
