Mood Dynamics Counseling Center, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote outpatient team. This full-time position offers you the opportunity to deliver specialized mental health care to individuals experiencing the profound effects of trauma. • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories, guiding treatment decisions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, with a specific focus on trauma recovery and resilience.
• Deliver evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated treatment.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to apply best practice interventions.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals affected by trauma, including those battling PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By providing a compassionate and supportive approach, you will help these patients navigate their experiences, understand their emotions, and achieve a sense of healing and empowerment.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of New Jersey.
• Strong grounding in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills complemented by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach when supporting patients.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, what matters most is your passion for helping others heal from trauma. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and maintaining a calm demeanor in high-stress situations will also enhance your candidacy.
