  • Review engineering designs and provide constructability input to ensure practicality, efficiency, and field execution alignment.
  • Direct and coordinate multiple contractors to ensure adherence to project schedule, budget, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor construction progress and proactively manage risks, constraints, and field execution challenges.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, including MSHA requirements and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Liaise closely with Project Management teams to provide regular updates, reporting, and progress insights.
  • Review, validate, and approve contractor invoices based on verified field progress and contractual agreements.
  • Interface with regulators and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance and supporting project approvals where required.
  • Support and participate in community and stakeholder engagement meetings as a project representative.
  • Foster a strong safety-first culture across all construction activities and contractor teams.

Working Conditions

  • Fly-in/Fly-out or rotational site-based role.
  • Schedule: 3 weeks on / 1 week off.
  • 12-hour shifts on site.
  • Project duration: Immediate start through Q3 2028.
  • Remote greenfield mining construction environment.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of construction experience in large-scale industrial or mining projects.
  • Previous experience with Greenfield Gold mine Construction.
  • Proven experience delivering greenfield projects, preferably within mining or heavy industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with crushing circuits, process plants, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Strong track record of delivering projects with CAPEX of $250M+.
  • Experience working on projects in the United States with working knowledge of MSHA requirements.
  • Prior experience interfacing with regulators and leading stakeholder/community engagement activities.
  • Strong leadership experience managing contractors in complex, multi-discipline construction environments.
  • Ability to operate effectively in remote, fast-paced project environments with high execution demands.
  • Comfortable with rotational schedule.
