Job description

Join an established orthopedic surgery program serving a rural community near Reno, Nevada. This position combines full-scope orthopedic practice with a predictable fly-in schedule and full travel support—no relocation required.

Opportunity

  • Full-scope orthopedics with emphasis on total joints and growing elective volume (total joint replacement, arthroscopy, hand, basic fracture care)
  • Onsite clinic with protected OR time
  • Collaborative, established surgical team
  • Hospitalist-supported admissions

Schedule & Model

  • Fly-in model: licensing and travel covered
  • 10 shifts per month providing 24/7 ED orthopedic call coverage
  • Shifts are selected 120 days in advance

Responsibilities

  • Manage both elective and acute orthopedic cases
  • Provide ED orthopedic call coverage as scheduled
  • Deliver patient-centered care with sound clinical judgment and professionalism
  • Work collaboratively with surgical and hospital teams to grow elective volumes

Compensation & Benefits

  • $3,195 per shift
