This allows our motors to maximize efficiency and minimize maintenance without compromising performance vs gas engines. Our technology has applications across several areas including commercial, recreational, yacht tender, and military markets. Headquartered in Bristol, Rhode Island, Flux Marine has approximately 45 employees who are passionate about developing new technologies and transforming the way people move on the water. As a quickly scaling start-up, there is tremendous opportunity for career advancement as the company grows in the months and years to come.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new potential clients, providing exceptional customer service and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and participation in industry events and boat shows.
  • Conduct product demonstrations via roadshows and sea trials to gather leads and preorders.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our product line, including technical specifications, customization options, and after-sales services to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Represent the company at boat shows, trade shows, dealer meetings, and OEM meetings, as needed by the company.
  • Provide contact and sales reports and share feedback from prospects and customers.
  • Build productive relationships with company colleagues and key industry stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Boating and marine industry experience with marine technology sales background is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record and willingness to trailer, launch, and operate boats frequently.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills with outstanding written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail, and solid organizational skills for follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
