Job description

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Flutter Developer position! This is a 12+ month contract and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC.
This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for both Android and iOS using Flutter and Dart
  • Build scalable, responsive, and user-friendly UI components that deliver exceptional user experiences across mobile platforms
  • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, Firebase services, and third-party solutions to expand application functionality
  • Implement robust state management solutions using Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX to ensure optimal application performance
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance to maintain high standards of quality and reliability
  • Conduct comprehensive testing including unit testing, widget testing, and integration testing to ensure code quality
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices and documentation standards
  • Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, managing updates and releases
  • Stay current with Flutter framework updates and emerging mobile development technologies

What You'll Need to Have:
  • 5+ years of professional experience developing mobile applications with Flutter and Dart
  • Proven ability to build scalable, responsive, and user-friendly applications for both Android and iOS platforms
  • Strong proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, and integrating backend services
  • Hands-on experience with Firebase services including Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, and Crashlytics
  • Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and the ability to implement responsive, reusable components
  • Experience with state management solutions and local database technologies such as SQLite or Hive
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows in collaborative development environments
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in iterative development environments
