Essential Functions:

  • Operate fluoroscopic imaging equipment (C-arm) to provide real-time visualization during spineproceduresincluding injections.

  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensureaccuratepositioning, imaging quality, and procedural efficiency.

  • Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards.

  • Prepare procedure room, ensure proper equipment functionality, and troubleshoot imaging technology as needed.

  • Assistwith patient positioning and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

  • Accurately document imaging procedures andmaintaincompliance with regulatory standards.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strongproficiencyin fluoroscopy and advanced imaging techniques.

  • Knowledge of spinal anatomy and procedural workflows within orthopedic settings

  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity environments

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the American Medical Association.

  • Professional license or certification requirements:

  • Registered Radiology Tech by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) or ARRT registry eligible.

  • Current CPR certificationrecommended.

The technologist prepares and calibrates fluoroscopy equipment, ensures all safety protocols are in place, andassistswith patient positioning. Between cases, they collaborate with clinical staff, document imaging records, and prepare for upcoming procedures.
