ASSISTANT DIRECTOROF FRONT OFFICE - THE OVERVIEW
We need an exceptional and passionate Assistant Director of FrontOffice to join our team and support the Director of Front Office. The AssistantDirector of Front Office is responsible for ensuring the operation of the FrontOffice, Guest Services, Bell Services, PBX and Concierge in a friendly,efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service priorto and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. What's the job?

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Supporting and reporting into the Director of FrontOffice
• Take ownership of the guest journey to ensure thatwe create a truly unique Generator experience
• Attend FLSD training and pass on-site test for property
• Strive to continuously "raise the bar" by improvingstandards of performance, redefining the property experience by achievingoutstanding customer satisfaction
• Ensure that our social spaces embody the Generatorbrand and culture
• Play a part in ensuring that there is a responsibleperson onsite at all times
• Build and lead a FOH team who get Generator andwant to be themselves
• Ensure that your team remains up to date with alllocal, national and international trends
• Communicate effectively and appropriately in alldirections so that the team understands its goals and is motivated to achievethem
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of and ensurecompliance with all union, local legislation and regulations pertaining to yourdepartment

WHAT'SIN YOUR DNA

• Passionatefor hospitality and the youth travel market
• Passionatefor delivering excellent customer service
• Strongleadership skills with ability to coach, mentor, train and develop crew members
• Fluent inEnglish and knowledge of a second language is desirable
• Hands-onexperience in a previous Union Hotel.
• Ability towork in a fast-paced environment
• Available towork as reasonably needed in line with business requirements

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience working in thehospitality industry and in a similar role
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experienceideally in a hotel setting
• Conversant in at least one PropertyManagement System
