INDUSTRY: Oilfield services

LOCATION: Midland, TX

CONTEXT: Our client is seeking a Division Manager – Flowback & Well Services to lead and scale a high-performing operation across multiple job sites. This role is responsible for full operational ownership, including field execution, team leadership, client relationships, and P&L performance. This is a builder role for someone who knows how to run a business—not just manage crews.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead day-to-day operations across flowback, well testing, and production services.
  • Oversee multiple crews, supervisors, and field leadership across active job sites.
  • Own and manage division-level P&L, driving profitability and cost control.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operators and key clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and target accounts.
  • Ensure execution of jobs safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Implement operational improvements to increase efficiency, utilization, and margins.
  • Hire, develop, and hold accountable a high-performing field team.
  • Partner with leadership on strategic growth initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience leading flowback and/or well services operations.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership for a division or business unit.
  • Strong understanding of field operations, equipment, and service delivery.
  • Experience managing multiple crews and job sites simultaneously.
  • Ability to build relationships with E&P operators and decision-makers.
  • Track record of improving operations, scaling teams, and driving results.
  • Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, accountability-driven style.
  • Background in Permian Basin or major U.S. shale plays.
  • Experience with well testing, sand separation, emissions control, or production services.
  • Established industry relationships.
